Punkin Chunkin is back with the 25th Annual Championships broadcast on the Discovery and Science networks tonight.

Mythbusters’ Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman hosted the pumpkin-tossing event this year as part of an 11 hour Mythbusters marathon to celebrate Thanksgiving on television today.

“The team that launches an eight to ten pound pumpkin the farthest wins the championship,” Savage announced on a sneak peek of the much-anticipated broadcast of the event, which took place from Nov. 6 to 8 in Bridgeville, Delaware.

The 110 teams registered this year could only secure a valid toss, providing the pumpkin bomb was not destroyed prior to the smash landing!
